Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregorio Montez in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hany Moamen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Hungary's Gregorio Montez in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Egypt's goalie prevented a goal. Egypt were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mortada Mido took the corner. The corner ended in Mortada Mido almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hungary's Arnold Szuper did a great save. Seddeq Basem kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Gregorio Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hany Moamen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Montez in the 19th minute of play. Hany Moamen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hungary's Áron Bódog got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gregorio Montez might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hany Moamen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregorio Montez ran back to his position shaking his head. Hany Moamen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Montez, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Egypt's Seddeq Basem quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mátyás Zakariás, made in the 36th minute of the game. Hany Moamen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Montez in the 37th minute of the match. Gregorio Montez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hany Moamen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Marwan in the 44th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Egypt's Mustafa Marwan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnold Szuper narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mustafa Marwan made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Gregorio Montez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hany Moamen, passed just outside the right post. Hany Moamen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Montez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the game, Gregorio Montez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hany Moamen. Gregorio Montez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. 61 minutes into the match, Egypt's goalkeeper Hany Moamen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregorio Montez. Ayoub Adel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnold Szuper having to make a save. Hany Moamen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Montez in the 64th minute of play. Hany Moamen made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Gregorio Montez sent off a good shot on target. Hungary's Arnold Szuper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Marwan in the 68th minute of play. Hungary's László Gácsi was substituted for Gregorio Montez. In the 70th minute Egypt were awarded a corner. Mortada Mido went to the cornerflag to take it. Mortada Mido made a great header on Egypt's corner, it was just that Hungary's Arnold Szuper managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes into the game, Kamel Seif threw the ball into play from the sideline. Hungary's Kornél Ács quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 81 minutes into the game, László Gácsi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hany Moamen. László Gácsi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. 86 minutes into the match, Hungary's Mátyás Zakariás sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hany Moamen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hany Moamen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of László Gácsi's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute.
