After a rather tough play, Sufczyn SSC's Jaroslaw Golembiewski got a free kick in the 12th minute. John Lennon hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Leonardo Da Vinci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ksawery Brak in the 17th minute of the match. The corner ended in Jaroslaw Golembiewski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Malta's Leonardo Da Vinci did a great save. Malta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tyron Sapiano in the 25th minute. Malta's Dejan Cassar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Angel Patrido in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Zdzislaw Cieslak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Angel Patrido successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Malta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tyron Sapiano in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, Malta's goal looked a bit too open when Ksawery Brak came free, but Leonardo Da Vinci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45thth minute of the game David Schiavone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sufczyn SSC's Angel Patrido was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Sufczyn SSC made a substitution. Roland Giertych replaced Filip Grunwalski. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zadornin Ballina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute David Schiavone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Patrido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malta were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Sufczyn SSC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tyron Sapiano took the corner. The corner ended in Tyron Sapiano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sufczyn SSC's Angel Patrido did a great save. Dejan Cassar made in the 56th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dejan Hamilton. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 1-0 when David Schiavone sped through Sufczyn SSC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Angel Patrido. Sufczyn SSC made a substitution. Remigiusz Noworolnik replaced Zadornin Ballina. After 70 played minutes Malta got a freekick which was hit by Edward Saliba. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zdzislaw Cieslak got free with Leonardo Da Vinci in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74thth minute of the game David Schiavone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sufczyn SSC's Angel Patrido was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Schiavone in the 76th minute of play forced Sufczyn SSC's goalkeeper Angel Patrido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute of the match Malta got a corner. Sufczyn SSC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tyron Sapiano ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Tyron Sapiano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Angel Patrido quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 79th match minute, Sufczyn SSC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaroslaw Golembiewski to maneuver through the defense. 2-0 became the score in the 85th minute when Martin Bonnici elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sufczyn SSC's Angel Patrido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Schiavone in the 89th minute of play. In the 90thth minute of the game David Schiavone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sufczyn SSC's Angel Patrido was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Schiavone in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Patrido saved Sufczyn SSC from getting behind. Malta's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
