Zair Hasa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Alfred Robin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Zair Hasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfred Robin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zair Hasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper Pål Sefastsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Hurko Longo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Van der Weijden in the 24th minute of play. After 25 minutes, Zair Hasa made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. North Side's Alfred Robin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zair Hasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfred Robin having to make a save. Alfred Robin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zair Hasa's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Fredric Melander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Robin having to interfere. North Side's Alfred Robin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save North Side from getting a goal against them. Zair Hasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfred Robin having to make a save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Zair Hasa made the kick off in the second half. Alfred Robin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zair Hasa in the 54th minute of the match. Zair Hasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfred Robin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zair Hasa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 62nd minute Hurko Longo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Sefastsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zair Hasa couldn't finish the play. National Team Cape-Verde made a substitution. Theo Mathy replaced Zair Hasa. The supporters of National Team Cape-Verde booed when North Side was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Van der Weijden didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind North Side's goalkeeper Alfred Robin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, North Side's goal looked a bit too open when Theo Mathy came free, but Alfred Robin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, North Side's Sander De Messemaeckre got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Theo Mathy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mattias Qvalfeldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pål Sefastsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mattias Qvalfeldt ran back to his position shaking his head. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
