Cox quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When C.J. Cox came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Terremoto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that C.J. Cox couldn't finish the play. Rodriguinho Sousa made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Shi Ming sent off a good shot on target. Vilhelm Skoog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Tabb having to interfere. The supporters of Terremoto FC booed when ATHLETICO PRaiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin van Persie didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Heitor Maldini got a free kick in the 20th minute. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save ATHLETICO PRaiano from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Terremoto FC's Hilario Duarte got a free kick in the 24th minute. The wind increased when Deilmison van Basten made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Terremoto FC's Cornelio Tabb got control of the ball when Deilmison van Basten tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Sousa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Terremoto FC's Cornelio Tabb got control of the ball when Deilmison van Basten tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shi Ming during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Terremoto FC made a substitution. Cornelio Tabb was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 86 minutes into the match, Deilmison van Basten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cornelio Tabb. Terremoto FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Deilmison van Basten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. If Deilmison van Basten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernard Mietus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
