After 22 minutes Mszczyczyn's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mikel McGinnis who took care of the corner kick. András Erdélyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lanny Blake, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 24th minute, Lanny Blake left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quebec city FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 34th minute Florian Rukszcz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but András Erdélyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute Beniamin Bienienda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexis Routhier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Mszczyczyn fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Mszczyczyn's Bennvar Falcon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Mszczyczyn getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Sinan Maruf hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Florian Rukszcz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of András Erdélyi. Mszczyczyn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florian Rukszcz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. A collision led to Quebec city FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Évariste Shannon hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the game, Arkadiusz Karp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Alexis Routhier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 89 minutes into the match, Quebec city FC's goal looked a bit too open when Beniamin Bienienda came free, but Alexis Routhier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quebec city FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Mszczyczyn had controlled the match.
