Hong Qing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michael Miels in the 31st minute. Pablo Sánchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Emilian Zdraşcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hong Qing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Afloroaiei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Lea Papá's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Everitt Obree was slow to take the kick. During this time Flying Hellfish's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Flying Hellfish's Everitt Obree to fire away a dangerous shot which Hong Qing despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Club Atlético Lea Papá made a substitution. Alvar Ponce replaced Michal Jehlička. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Alan Marinelli was substituted for Pablo Sánchez. Hong Qing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Afloroaiei in the 57th minute of play. Hong Qing didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Afloroaiei went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Flying Hellfish's Jonathan Hopkins was substituted for Arne Conlin. Jonathan Ibar charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Ibar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 played minutes Flying Hellfish got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Ibar. Jonathan Ibar kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Flying Hellfish's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Donose came free, but Emilian Zdraşcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Lea Papá defense, Karl Howarth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hong Qing. The Club Atlético Lea Papá fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hong Qing should have stopped the shot. Hong Qing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Howarth, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Celso Barrientos hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Michael Miels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute, Karl Howarth made a precise shot to the right of Hong Qing. Club Atlético Lea Papá's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, Flying Hellfish could leave the field as winners, despite Club Atlético Lea Papá having more of the ball for most of the match.
