Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Flying Hellfish's Michael Miels started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Flying Hellfish's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Stevens came free, but Otto Dillon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andres Stevens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Dillon having to interfere. Boroondara Milan's Bath Boyce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Miels in the 8th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michael Miels in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bath Boyce saved Boroondara Milan from getting behind. Rex Peplow kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horaţiu Ţurlău got free with Bath Boyce in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Otto Dillon came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Boroondara Milan's Andres Stevens. But to his dismay, Andres Stevens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 28th minute Horaţiu Ţurlău shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bath Boyce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Raymond Schonke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flying Hellfish's Michael Miels got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th match minute, Boroondara Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Myles Surman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Hopkins in the 45th minute of play forced Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Bath Boyce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andres Stevens made a kick off. Raymond Schonke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Flying Hellfish booed when Boroondara Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kane Muggleton didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th match minute, Boroondara Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Bundy to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Adolfo Bundy fired away a free kick, which, to Otto Dillon's relief, went just outside the right post. When Flying Hellfish's Michael Miels in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boroondara Milan's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Michael Miels sped through Boroondara Milan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bath Boyce. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Andres Stevens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boroondara Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Andres Stevens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otto Dillon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boroondara Milan's Bath Boyce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Miels in the 78th minute of play. Bath Boyce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horaţiu Ţurlău, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Michael Miels notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Boroondara Milan's Bath Boyce. Bath Boyce was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bath Boyce came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Flying Hellfish's Jonathan Hopkins. But to his dismay, Jonathan Hopkins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. After 94 played minutes Boroondara Milan got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Fallen. After a defensive mix-up in Boroondara Milan's zone, Michael Miels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bath Boyce came out of the goal and Michael Miels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
