In the 22nd minute Prudencio Bilbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odion Tao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Bilbo in the 23rd minute of play forced Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper Odion Tao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Prudencio Bilbo made a precise shot to the right of Odion Tao. Melchester Rovers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 46th minute, Prudencio Bilbo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Blitzkrieg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Roger Sandwall made the kick off in the second half. Emiliano Benitez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Sandwall in the 55th minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match Blitzkrieg got a corner. Melchester Rovers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fermin Oton ran over to the corner to take the kick. Odion Tao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Bilbo in the 67th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Blitzkrieg defense, A.J. 太史慈 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano Benitez. The Blitzkrieg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Benitez should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Melchester Rovers's Odion Tao got control of the ball when Prudencio Bilbo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brian Strömberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Benitez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brian Strömberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Blitzkrieg made a substitution. Agustin Mosen replaced Fermin Oton. Blitzkrieg:s Emiliano Benitez showed great skill when he stopped Roger Sandwall:s penalty. Nestor Gaxan got a throw-in 84 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Eloy Javiero. A.J. 太史慈 succeeded in the game's 87th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. Emiliano Benitez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from A.J. 太史慈, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Ekenberg in the 95th minute of play forced Blitzkrieg's goalkeeper Emiliano Benitez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melchester Rovers's Hans Svensson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eloy Javiero, made in the 97th minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Blitzkrieg eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
