In the 68th minute, Domingos Aleixo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Achille Albanesi. The goal made the score 3-2. Fabiano Rago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Vargas in the 71st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Lupi in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabiano Rago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The S.S.C. NAPOLI fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when S.S.C. NAPOLI's Fulvio Grande looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. S.S.C. NAPOLI's Achille Albanesi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save S.S.C. NAPOLI from getting a goal against them. NAPOLI's Fabrício Carmo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabiano Rago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabiano Rago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Lupi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 played minutes S.S.C. NAPOLI got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Cãpraru. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.S.C. NAPOLI's goalkeeper Achille Albanesi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Alvaro Lupi managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.S.C. NAPOLI's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Lupi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano Rago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. S.S.C. NAPOLI fully deserved thier win.
