Horacio Matthew might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eraldo Scibilia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Horacio Matthew ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to S.S.C. NAPOLI getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Christian Guadagnoli hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Obano in the 22nd minute of play forced S.S.C. NAPOLI's goalkeeper Eraldo Scibilia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Teodoro Dubardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TORQUE F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of TORQUE F.C. booed when S.S.C. NAPOLI's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ciccio Moscatelli came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Norberto Eriz could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciccio Moscatelli got free with Norberto Eriz in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

TORQUE F.C.'s Norberto Eriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Mariotti in the 51st minute of play. Norberto Eriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciccio Moscatelli in the 52nd minute of play. Norberto Eriz came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by S.S.C. NAPOLI's Ciccio Moscatelli. But to his dismay, Ciccio Moscatelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Eraldo Scibilia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Obano in the 60th minute of play. Eraldo Scibilia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Obano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felice Franceschelli's late challenge caught a TORQUE F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felice Franceschelli helped the player get up and apologised. Horacio Matthew could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Eraldo Scibilia made a huge save. After a rather tough play, S.S.C. NAPOLI's Alessio Alba got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Eraldo Scibilia had great luck who in the 74thth minute grab hold of the ball when Honorio Obano from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Ciccio Moscatelli charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciccio Moscatelli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th match minute, S.S.C. NAPOLI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciccio Moscatelli to maneuver through the defense. When Donato De Lorenzi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. TORQUE F.C. made a substitution. Alfredo Bieito replaced Horacio Matthew. Donato De Lorenzi hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Eraldo Scibilia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Dubardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Angelo Mariotti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norberto Eriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Ciccio Moscatelli got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 91st match minute, S.S.C. NAPOLI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciccio Moscatelli to maneuver through the defense. S.S.C. NAPOLI's Bruno Mazzocco suffered a concussion in the 95th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 95 minutes, Alfredo Bieito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TORQUE F.C. and the S.S.C. NAPOLI players grew even worse after the yellow card. S.S.C. NAPOLI made a substitution. Anselmo Costantino replaced Bruno Mazzocco. In the 97th match minute, TORQUE F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Bieito to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. S.S.C. NAPOLI had won after a very even match.
