Astor Haimar in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The Dragões de Campo Grande fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardinho Moreira should have stopped the shot. In the 38thth minute of the game Astor Haimar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dragões de Campo Grande's Ricardinho Moreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Haimar in the 66th minute of play forced Dragões de Campo Grande's goalkeeper Ricardinho Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astor Haimar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardinho Moreira having to make a save. 72 minutes into the match, Dragões de Campo Grande's goal looked a bit too open when Odysseas Terzis came free, but Ricardinho Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Haimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ricardinho Moreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0.
