The supporters of Dragões de Campo Grande booed when Desbravadores F C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilian Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Desbravadores F C defense, Gandalf Bilbo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulão Barreto. The Desbravadores F C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulão Barreto should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute Vitalie Tabãrã shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardinho Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dragões de Campo Grande's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. But to his dismay, Gandalf Bilbo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 84th match minute, Dragões de Campo Grande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Ricardinho Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Montenegro in the 86th minute of the match.
