After 3 played minutes Zendium got a freekick which was hit by Stig Magnusson. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Roland in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Jelm saved Zendium from getting behind. In the 8th match minute, Zendium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uno Ek to maneuver through the defense. After 9 played minutes, Vélez Juniors's Guido Luzaide shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jan Jelm came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vélez Juniors reached it. In the 15thth minute of the game Nicolas Roland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zendium's Jan Jelm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jan Jelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Roland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Vélez Juniors's Nicolas Roland in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zendium's goalie prevented a goal. Cristian Naike struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Jan Jelm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vélez Juniors. Jan Jelm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Naike's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Roland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Jelm was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Cristian Naike put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jan Jelm. If Joacim Backlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute of the match Santos Fonda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Jelm showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jan Jelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Roland in the 36th minute of the match. Joacim Backlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Bartoli having to interfere. The supporters of Zendium booed when Vélez Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Gurutz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vélez Juniors's Guillermo Bartoli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Vélez Juniors from getting a goal against them. In the 48th minute, Cristian Naike ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Jelm was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After the first half Vélez Juniors were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristian Naike to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Zendium's Jan Jelm got control of the ball when Nicolas Roland tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Vélez Juniors's Nicolas Roland dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Nicolas Roland received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jan Jelm came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicolas Roland slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 56th minute. After 59 played minutes Zendium got a freekick which was hit by Stig Magnusson. Jan Jelm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Naike, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Jan Jelm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benicio Rivas's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Benicio Rivas kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Pär Hjelm's late challenge caught a Vélez Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pär Hjelm helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vélez Juniors booed when Zendium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pär Hjelm didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Vélez Juniors's Jan Jelm threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nicolas Roland, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 69 minutes of play, Vélez Juniors's Cristian Naike made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Jelm was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Vélez Juniors getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Nicolas Roland hit a great ball. Guillermo Bartoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Enegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Zendium's Dick Bennet was substituted for Richard Enegren. Zendium's Erland Boklund was substituted for Alberto Bosso. In the 90th minute of the match, Cristian Naike got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jan Jelm was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Guillermo Bartoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Telin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th match minute, Zendium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Magnusson to maneuver through the defense. Jan Jelm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Naike in the 98th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vélez Juniors had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
