An unexpectedly hard shot by Jérémy Doku in the 7th minute of play forced U.C.MILÁN's goalkeeper Menéndez Walton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Ulan Bator Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Benyamin Gómez came free, but Ball Packert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Menéndez Walton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jérémy Doku, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the game, Diedrik Van Mechelen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Menéndez Walton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Ulan Bator Football Club booed when U.C.MILÁN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benyamin Gómez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Menéndez Walton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erwin Tobbackers in the 19th minute of the match. Menéndez Walton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jérémy Doku, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the U.C.MILÁN defense, Jérémy Doku kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Menéndez Walton. The U.C.MILÁN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Menéndez Walton should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute Benyamin Gómez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ball Packert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert De Roover kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Sebastiano Pareja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ball Packert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benyamin Gómez made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ulan Bator Football Club's zone, Jose Manuel Gajardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ball Packert came out of the goal and Jose Manuel Gajardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 91 played minutes Ulan Bator Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Alain Vandam. When Sebastiano Pareja came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the U.C.MILÁN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastiano Pareja couldn't finish the play. Jose Manuel Gajardo charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Manuel Gajardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jose Manuel Gajardo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ulan Bator Football Club had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
