Igor Aparecido hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Cleiton de Toledo hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Cláudio Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the game, Matías Viña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CE LAJEADENSE RS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sangue nos Zóio the free kick. After 10 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Matías Viña. Flavinho Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remo Galvão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remo Galvão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flavinho Reis came out and tried to block the shot, but Remo Galvão slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 19th minute. Nelsinho Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséas Miranda to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 24 minutes, Naldo Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sangue nos Zóio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naldo Paranaense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 30 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Nelsinho Teles. 31 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when Remo Galvão came free, but Flavinho Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remo Galvão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Flavinho Reis made a huge save. After 41 played minutes Sangue nos Zóio got a freekick which was hit by Igor Aparecido. Carlos de Castro hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

After having played for 51 minutes, Gerson Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CE LAJEADENSE RS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerson Coelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Flavinho Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remo Galvão in the 56th minute of play. If Nathan Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilvan Moura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Cláudio Moreira made a huge save. 72 minutes into the match, Sangue nos Zóio's goal looked a bit too open when Gilvan Moura came free, but Cláudio Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Caio Ramos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cláudio Moreira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 77th minute Remo Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Nelsinho Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when Remo Galvão came free, but Flavinho Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The long shot by Caio Ramos in the 94th minute really tested Cláudio Moreira's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 96 minutes into the match, Sangue nos Zóio's Jeremias Marques sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavinho Reis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sangue nos Zóio's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
