When Juan Corredor came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the MILLONARIOS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Corredor couldn't finish the play. After 7 played minutes MILLONARIOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Alberto Yepes. MILLONARIOS FC's Videl Mauriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joanes Gascon in the 11th minute of play. Tximitx Cabezas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mino Domene having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's goalkeeper Mino Domene had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Corredor. Mino Domene showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Corredor, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joanes Gascon came free, but Videl Mauriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Videl Mauriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gombal Lidon, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The supporters of MILLONARIOS FC booed when JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lilian Thuram didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joanes Gascon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Juan Corredor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mino Domene saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, MILLONARIOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mon Ibaute to maneuver through the defense. Juan Corredor struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Mino Domene didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MILLONARIOS FC. Mino Domene didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Corredor went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute, Uhin Encina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Corredor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mino Domene having to make a save. Mino Domene took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Corredor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes Joanes Gascon rounded MILLONARIOS FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. A collision led to MILLONARIOS FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Uhin Encina hit a great ball. Videl Mauriz was a little too slow when Joanes Gascon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 3-2. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's Lilian Thuram managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mario Alberto Yepes in the 80 minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, Tximitx Cabezas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute Tximitx Cabezas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mino Domene saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Corredor in the 88th minute of play forced JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's goalkeeper Mino Domene to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MILLONARIOS FC's Juan Corredor got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tximitx Cabezas during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute, Tximitx Cabezas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute of the match Lilian Thuram shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Videl Mauriz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. JUVENTUS BIANCONERI FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
