With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evlogi Antonov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Evripidis Papadimitriou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cyprus's supporters rose to their feet, but Evripidis Papadimitriou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evlogi Antonov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iosif Moisakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thodoris Kefaloukos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Traian Delas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MpanTouLis FC's Evlogi Antonov did a great save. With a little luck, MpanTouLis FC's Evlogi Antonov got control of the ball when Giorgos Robinho tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evripidis Papadimitriou to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 75th minute of the match Cyprus got a corner. MpanTouLis FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Giorgos Robinho ran over to the corner to take the kick. Iosif Moisakos had great luck who in the 77thth minute grab hold of the ball when Argyris Amanatidis from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 79 minutes into the game, Stratos Tsoflidis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MpanTouLis FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cyprus the free kick. In the 80th match minute, MpanTouLis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stratos Tsoflidis to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the game, Cyprus's Aiakos Vardakas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evlogi Antonov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 83 played minutes MpanTouLis FC got a freekick which was hit by Stathis Koulouris. Evlogi Antonov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aiakos Vardakas in the 84th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, MpanTouLis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aiakos Vardakas came free, but Evlogi Antonov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Giorgos Robinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Evlogi Antonov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Aiakos Vardakas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute.
