Marcos Rodrigues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnaldo Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Elói de Queirós made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Apocalipse FC's Claudio Rainaldi. When Rômulo de Castro came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Apocalipse FC fans jumped to their feet.
