The supporters of Fluminense Football Club booed when Zryw Samsonów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kazimierz Grocholski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago Gabriel de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Arnaldo Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Gorzkiewicz in the 35th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Gil Maciel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hugon Derlanga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

51 minutes into the game, Felipe Lucas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fluminense Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zryw Samsonów the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fluminense Football Club's Felipe Lucas got a free kick in the 51st minute. Hugon Derlanga came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Fluminense Football Club's Elói de Queirós. But to his dismay, Elói de Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 66th minute, Felipe Lucas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fluminense Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Fluminense Football Club made a substitution. Frédson Amaral replaced Zeca Alagoano. Zryw Samsonów's Hugon Derlanga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Gabriel de Lara in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Hugon Zbytniewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Grocholski in the 77th minute of play. Hugon Derlanga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlindo Andrade in the 79th minute of the match. Hugon Derlanga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugon Derlanga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fluminense Football Club fully deserved thier win.
