Silvestre Natanael was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Santos Orlan was a little too slow when Mohieddine Ayari got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-1. Silvestre Natanael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Luar, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohieddine Ayari in the 32nd minute of play forced El Fortín de Floresta's goalkeeper Santos Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Orlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mohieddine Ayari went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute, Salvador Hats made a precise shot to the right of Silvestre Natanael. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 46th minute, Salvador Hats left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Fortín de Floresta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Cirilo Arlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Santos Orlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Mohieddine Ayari managed to get in a good position for a shot. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohieddine Ayari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santos Orlan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to El Fortín de Floresta getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Hilario Medardo hit a great ball. Mohieddine Ayari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind El Fortín de Floresta's goalkeeper Santos Orlan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cirilo Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohieddine Ayari in the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, El Fortín de Floresta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Luar to maneuver through the defense. Iker Atarrabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Fortín de Floresta made a substitution. Delmar Manex replaced Nemesio Piorno. El Fortín de Floresta's Wincent Oryl was substituted for Alvino Tinto. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Silvestre Natanael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB from getting a goal against them. Santos Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Claus in the 96th minute of the match. After 98 minutes El Fortín de Floresta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Petre Bogătan who took care of the corner kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
