Jesus Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Oyarzún in the 38th minute of play. After 38 played minutes U21 Chile got a freekick which was hit by Deo Mičánek. Jesus Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Tupper in the 43rd minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charlton McDonough made a kick off. Peyo Kaadekilde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurence Espinoza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Tupper in the 56th minute of play forced U21 United States's goalkeeper Jesus Rios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Chile's zone, Charlton McDonough stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peyo Kaadekilde came out of the goal and Charlton McDonough tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. U21 Chile made a substitution. Hasta Alfonso replaced Alexander Aravena. 65 minutes into the match, Hasta Alfonso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jesus Rios, 0-2. In the 69th match minute, U21 Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hasta Alfonso to maneuver through the defense. After 87 played minutes U21 Chile got a freekick which was hit by Ruiz Ballet. Peyo Kaadekilde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurence Espinoza in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, U21 Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Laurence Espinoza came free, but Peyo Kaadekilde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes U21 Chile got a freekick which was hit by Yerko Rey. U21 United States's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nathanial Coppack in the 94th minute. The corner led U21 United States's Nathanial Coppack to fire away a dangerous shot which Peyo Kaadekilde despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. U21 Chile's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
