In the 3rd minute Halit Ziya Emekli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hakkı Demircan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dragones Tampico's Apolo Beltran got a free kick in the 5th minute. Hakkı Demircan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halit Ziya Emekli in the 8th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes Dragones Tampico got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Aritza. Aloísio Romero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Mino in the 15th minute of play forced Rogue Squadron's goalkeeper Thomas Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hakkı Demircan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 20 minutes into the game, when Jonas Pello put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Rogue Squadron getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Jonas Pello hit a great ball. Isaias Fe's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Thomas Andreasson on his right side and into the goal. 22 minutes into the game it was 1-0. Gaspar Txilar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Thomas Andreasson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Apolo Beltran kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Thomas Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Mino in the 34th minute of play. Rogue Squadron's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Apolo Beltran scored to the left of an out of position Thomas Andreasson, making the score, 2-0. In the 39thth minute of the game Santo Mino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rogue Squadron's Thomas Andreasson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Feliberto Gomez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rogue Squadron's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dragones Tampico the free kick. In the 45th match minute, Rogue Squadron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Gomez to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Rogue Squadron's zone, Isaias Fe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Andreasson came out of the goal and Isaias Fe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thomas Andreasson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaspar Txilar in the 48th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santo Mino was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Patricio Teofilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Dragones Tampico booed when Rogue Squadron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aloísio Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dudu Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Thomas Andreasson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Dragones Tampico's Santo Mino shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Rogue Squadron's Thomas Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Mino in the 67th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Dragones Tampico were awarded a corner. Isaias Fe went to the cornerflag to take it. Dragones Tampico's Isaias Fe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thomas Andreasson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Santo Mino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Thomas Andreasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Mino in the 84th minute of play. Gaspar Txilar scored 4-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Andreasson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Albino Erlantz fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rogue Squadron's protests and gave Albino Erlantz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Rogue Squadron's Albino Erlantz got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Isaias Fe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dragones Tampico walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
