After some careless play in the Rogue Squadron defense, Manuel Elodio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomas Andreasson. The Rogue Squadron fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Andreasson should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Arnulfo Vellito in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Rogue Squadron's Albino Erlantz. Andres Obeko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Rossi in the 36th minute of the match. Patricio Teofilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Obeko having to interfere. Rogue Squadron's Aloísio Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Albino Erlantz's late challenge caught a Campodónico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albino Erlantz helped the player get up and apologised. Albino Erlantz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Silvano Sal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Campodónico's Guaberto Tiadoro was substituted for Rafael Aztore. The supporters of Campodónico booed when Rogue Squadron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Sal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnulfo Vellito kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Campodónico's Arnulfo Vellito got a free kick in the 76th minute. Vladimiro Rexino kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The referee gave Rogue Squadron a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dudu Rossi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Campodónico's Andres Obeko. 3-1. If Halit Ziya Emekli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Rogue Squadron booed when Campodónico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Marcones didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Campodónico! In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Rogue Squadron. Dudu Rossi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Andres Obeko. 4-1. With a little luck, Rogue Squadron's Thomas Andreasson got control of the ball when Jimeno Quexal tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rogue Squadron fans cheered their team off the field, for while Campodónico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
