With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezra Ring prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 5th minute, Olin Mendoza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tyrese Pope during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Juve 17 booed when Mishawaka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyrese Pope didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Mishawaka getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Kris Perry hit a great ball. Ruben Goldsmith, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 17th match minute, Juve 17 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sydney Aldrich to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Mishawaka's Truman Stacy tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Juve 17 getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Flint Wills hit a great ball. In the 21st minute of the match Truman Stacy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ezra Ring showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Sonny Aragon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juve 17's supporters rose to their feet, but Sonny Aragon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willy Temple breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olin Mendoza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Graham in the 38th minute of play forced Juve 17's goalkeeper Ezra Ring to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Carlo Graham made the kick off in the second half. Olin Mendoza in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ezra Ring, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Mishawaka getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. In the 65th minute, Sonny Aragon made a precise shot to the right of Willy Temple. Mishawaka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olin Mendoza got free with Ezra Ring in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tory Moon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Willy Temple tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willy Temple took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tory Moon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olin Mendoza got free with Ezra Ring in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
