Tracey Kitchen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th minute, Tracey Kitchen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Little Elm FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Abe Medina hit a great ball. The supporters of Cross City booed when Little Elm FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Archie Lacy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abe Medina got in the 16th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Roland London handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Roland London took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abe Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Neil Weiss came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Cross City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neil Weiss couldn't finish the play. Walker Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Roland London showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abe Medina, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Abe Medina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Roland London tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Val Dobson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Little Elm FC's Logan Whalen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Roland London made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abe Medina in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Logan Whalen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cross City's Roland London was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The attack was good, but when Abe Medina in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 37th minute, Francesco Velasquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Abe Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Cross City defense, Archie Lacy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roland London. The Cross City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roland London should have stopped the shot. Abe Medina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
