Brendan Wolff started the match with the kick off. Rebel Squids's Freddie Farris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymond Abrams in the 3rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brendan Wolff in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseo Boston saved North Cape May from getting behind. Kirk Bower hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 7thth minute of the game Brendan Wolff who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but North Cape May's Eliseo Boston was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 9 played minutes North Cape May got a freekick which was hit by C.J. Nichols. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brendan Wolff in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseo Boston saved North Cape May from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Tim Davila kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eliseo Boston. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Rebel Squids's Brendan Wolff was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 21st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Eliseo Boston stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicky Prescott's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Eliseo Boston stood somewhat misplaced when Brendan Wolff came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 28 minute. With an all-out effort, Rebel Squids's Eliseo Boston threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Brendan Wolff, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 33 minutes in the game, Monty Kruse fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eliseo Boston having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, North Cape May's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Kruse came free, but Eliseo Boston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brendan Wolff in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseo Boston prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes into the match, Brendan Wolff dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eliseo Boston, 5-0. Eliseo Boston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Kruse in the 42nd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Duke Harris made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Brendan Wolff's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliseo Boston was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendan Wolff in the 60th minute of play forced North Cape May's goalkeeper Eliseo Boston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brendan Wolff took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseo Boston. Eliseo Boston dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Nicky Prescott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 12-0 became the score in the 74th minute when Brendan Wolff elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. North Cape May's Eliseo Boston played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicky Prescott in the 77th minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Brendan Wolff who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but North Cape May's Eliseo Boston was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendan Wolff in the 80th minute of play forced North Cape May's goalkeeper Eliseo Boston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 minutes, Kirk Bower mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the North Cape May and the Rebel Squids players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, North Cape May was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kirk Bower to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Brendan Wolff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Boston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Boston took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Kruse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute Monty Kruse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Boston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monty Kruse scored 14-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliseo Boston, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brendan Wolff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Boston having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, North Cape May's goal looked a bit too open when Nicky Prescott came free, but Eliseo Boston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Brendan Wolff put it in 15-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eliseo Boston. Rebel Squids walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
