Spectators: 8392 (Terracing: 6296, Seating: 1930, VIP seats: 166) 4 minutes into the game, Mitch Ibarra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Renaud Britt. Mitch Ibarra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Donnie Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Aurelien Langelier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renaud Britt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emile McWilliams's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. A collision led to Ioco getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Bob Mallory hit a great ball. In the 19th match minute, Ioco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bob Mallory to maneuver through the defense. Aurelien Langelier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donald Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Lucien Leal hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Edmonton Elks's goalkeeper Renaud Britt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mitch Ibarra. 30 minutes into the game, Earle Ayers threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ioco's Julio Dugan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Aurelien Langelier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donnie Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Luigi Goldsmith got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Ioco's goal looked a bit too open when Donald Flores came free, but Aurelien Langelier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mitch Ibarra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Renaud Britt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 47th match minute, Ioco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gautier Oakes to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mitch Ibarra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Edmonton Elks booed when Ioco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mitch Ibarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Edmonton Elks's goal looked a bit too open when Emile McWilliams came free, but Renaud Britt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitch Ibarra in the 65th minute of play forced Edmonton Elks's goalkeeper Renaud Britt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitch Ibarra in the 96th minute of play forced Edmonton Elks's goalkeeper Renaud Britt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
