In the 32nd minute, Ken Shakes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anton Badree was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Одеська академія's Anton Badree played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerald Hunte in the 41st minute of play. But to his dismay, Adesh Assoon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Одеська академія's zone, Gerald Hunte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Badree came out of the goal and Gerald Hunte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Ken Shakes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mohammedville's supporters rose to their feet, but Ken Shakes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Badree breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adesh Assoon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Mojah Alleyne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Одеська академія reached it. In the 87th minute, Makan Bottomley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Mitchell-Gift sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Adesh Assoon came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Одеська академія fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adesh Assoon couldn't finish the play. Mohammedville's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
