A collision led to PocosPeroLokos getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Serafim Moreira hit a great ball. When Reynaldo Isamit came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the los tilines fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Isamit couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, PocosPeroLokos's Menéndez Nil got a free kick in the 38th minute. Reynaldo Isamit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute of the match, Gerónimo Cauffmann got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alfonso Redondo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fulco Clavel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Redondo having to interfere.

After a defensive mix-up in PocosPeroLokos's zone, Franco Hamdorf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogerio Mendizabal came out of the goal and Franco Hamdorf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horacio Ampuero hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. With a little luck, PocosPeroLokos's Rogerio Mendizabal got control of the ball when Andoni Pakozdy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fulco Clavel charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fulco Clavel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fulco Clavel kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Alfonso Redondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Menéndez Nil, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Franco Hamdorf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogerio Mendizabal having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Franco Hamdorf dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rogerio Mendizabal, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Regino Christie during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
