Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valdir do Valle started the match with the kick off. José Paulo Madureira took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elói Vaz. Elói Vaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Felipe Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Lech Pilsudski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lech Pilsudski in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elói Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lech Pilsudski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo Martins in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edinho Gerber saved Manteninha from getting behind. Elói Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lech Pilsudski in the 21st minute of play. Lech Pilsudski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elói Vaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Alta's Elivélton Duarte got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 30 minutes into the match, Juvenal Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edinho Gerber. Manteninha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juvenal Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lech Pilsudski in the 38th minute of play forced Alta's goalkeeper Elói Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Lech Pilsudski made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Lech Pilsudski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juvenal Fonseca in the 56th minute of play forced Manteninha's goalkeeper Edinho Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elói Vaz was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Felipe Valladares capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felipe Valladares really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. When Lech Pilsudski came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Manteninha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lech Pilsudski couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the match, Alta's goalkeeper Elói Vaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lech Pilsudski. Edinho Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júnior Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 minutes, Elivélton Duarte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alta and the Manteninha players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Elivélton Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Manteninha getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Nelsinho Prado hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Alta's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Valladares came free, but Elói Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elói Vaz having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Juvenal Fonseca in the 83rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 89th match minute, Alta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juvenal Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the game, Lech Pilsudski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Elói Vaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Alta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Manteninha were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
