Artur Ceresso started the match with the kick off. José Pedro da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Jailson Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 minutes, Frédson de Medeiros made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Seraph's Jailson Barral tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zeca Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jailson Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Frédson de Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jailson Barral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frédson de Medeiros's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After 17 minutes, Dedé Aparecido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seraph and the Ingaseiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Seraph booed when Ingaseiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frédson de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Trevisan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vicente Abreu. Ingaseiro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vicente Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Ceresso in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Seraph's Paulinho Pinho got a free kick in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Zeca Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ingaseiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeca Paes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jailson Barral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Zeca Paes made a precise shot to the right of Jailson Barral. Seraph's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frédson de Medeiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Frédson de Medeiros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jailson Barral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abel Trevisan's late challenge caught a Ingaseiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Trevisan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Seraph getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Abel Trevisan hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when José Pedro da Fonseca in the 57th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jailson Barral's left hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frédson de Medeiros in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jailson Barral saved Seraph from getting behind. Artur Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Abreu having to interfere. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Zeca Paes sped through Seraph's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jailson Barral. In the 74th minute, Frédson de Medeiros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ingaseiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 83 minutes into the match, Zeca Paes notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Seraph's Jailson Barral. Jailson Barral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 86 played minutes Seraph got a freekick which was hit by Noel Nunes. Jailson Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frédson de Medeiros in the 88th minute of play. Zeca Paes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jailson Barral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Seraph's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson de Medeiros came free, but Jailson Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ingaseiro's Frédson de Medeiros in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Seraph's goalie prevented a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ingaseiro fully deserved thier win.
