Edmundo de Castro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Michel Fontes didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Pontal do Sul's Raúl Carioca shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After having played for 67 minutes, Raúl Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pontal do Sul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raúl Carioca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raúl Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 played minutes Tupi got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fernando Vianna. 76 minutes into the match, Raúl Carioca notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Tupi's Michel Fontes. Michel Fontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Tupi booed when Pontal do Sul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorival Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raúl Carioca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Raúl Carioca took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Michel Fontes to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Tupi's Michel Fontes got control of the ball when Raúl Carioca tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Guto Oliveira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Michel Fontes. That made the score 1-4 in the 91 minute of play.
