Délio das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Boot FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Carlos Fernandez came free, but Délio das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Gerber charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Verde's Armandinho Sá proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Verde from getting a goal against them. In the 32ndth minute of the game Emílio Queiroz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boot FC's Délio das Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Queiroz in the 39th minute of play forced Boot FC's goalkeeper Délio das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boot FC's André Gerber got his second yellow card of the match in the 46th minute. The referee ordered André Gerber off the ground. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomás Vergílio to strike the kick off in the second half. Enrique Marinho hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Carlos Fernandez got free with Délio das Neves in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zé Carlos Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Délio das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Verde's Nilton Almeida got a free kick in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Cássio da Silveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boot FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verde the free kick. In the 79th minute, Cássio da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Carlos Fernandezs short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Délio das Neves to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zé Carlos Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Délio das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Zé Carlos Fernandez could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Délio das Neves however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Verde's Cacá de Queiroz got a free kick in the 95th minute. Zé Carlos Fernandez came free with the goalkeeper in the 98th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Délio das Neves could save by the left post. The Verde players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Boot FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
