The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nova Santa Rosa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Vergílio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Délio das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Alagoano in the 33rd minute of the match. Cássio da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Claudinho Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduardo Alagoano to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Nova Santa Rosa FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Délio das Neves came out and tried to block the shot, but Lino Cavalcante slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 76th minute. Cássio da Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cássio da Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Boot FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Cássio da Silveira hit a great ball. After 81 played minutes Nova Santa Rosa FC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Alagoano. Cássio da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eduardo Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
