After having played for 5 minutes, Mazinho Campidelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viela F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mazinho Campidelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Flavio Cordaryal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viela F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Cordaryal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guto Brito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guto Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeu de Castro in the 7th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Flavio Cordaryal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viela F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Cordaryal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guto Brito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Fabrício Munhoz fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PALHAÇADA FC's protests and gave Fabrício Munhoz a yellow card for diving instead. Fabrício Munhoz hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Viela F.C's Humberto das Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Viela F.C from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeu de Castro in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guto Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Amadeu de Castro sped through PALHAÇADA FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guto Brito. In the 27thth minute of the game Amadeu de Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PALHAÇADA FC's Guto Brito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amadeu de Castro scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guto Brito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amadeu de Castro struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Guto Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viela F.C. If Nuno Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Viela F.C's Cido Brito got a free kick in the 38th minute. When Cristóvão Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the PALHAÇADA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristóvão Marquez couldn't finish the play. After having played for 45 minutes, Flavio Cordaryal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viela F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Cordaryal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Viela F.C were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sandrinho Netto to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Amadeu de Castro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Amadeu de Castro came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Viela F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeu de Castro couldn't finish the play. Guto Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu de Castro in the 68th minute of play. Pedro Barros hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. When Viela F.C's Amadeu de Castro in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PALHAÇADA FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ricardo Sanches kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. If Nuno Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Sandrinho Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, PALHAÇADA FC's Guto Brito got control of the ball when Amadeu de Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu de Castro in the 83rd minute of play forced PALHAÇADA FC's goalkeeper Guto Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilmar Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Guto Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mazinho Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guto Brito having to interfere. When Viela F.C's Amadeu de Castro in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PALHAÇADA FC's goalie prevented a goal. Viela F.C played a much better game than PALHAÇADA FC and deserved their victory. The PALHAÇADA FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
