Edvaldo Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu de Castro in the 3rd minute of play. Flavio Cordaryal struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Edvaldo Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viela F.C. When Viela F.C's Amadeu de Castro in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.E.R. LAÍNI's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, S.E.R. LAÍNI's Walmyr Prestes got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 17th match minute, S.E.R. LAÍNI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Gerber to maneuver through the defense. Humberto das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luan Urbano, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Amauri Guimarães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavio Cordaryal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Augusto Motta in the 31st minute of the match. Amadeu de Castros short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Edvaldo Toledo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Viela F.C's Amadeu de Castro in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.E.R. LAÍNI's goalie prevented a goal. Flavio Cordaryal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Toledo having to interfere. Edvaldo Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeu de Castro's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Viela F.C made a substitution. Ricardo Sanches replaced Valdir Monteiro. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amadeu de Castro to strike the kick off in the second half. Percy de Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 58 minutes S.E.R. LAÍNI's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ediberto Quadros who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Viela F.C's Ediberto Quadros to fire away a dangerous shot which Edvaldo Toledo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Edvaldo Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeu de Castro's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. If Amauri Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viela F.C's Humberto das Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Viela F.C from getting a goal against them. S.E.R. LAÍNI's Luan Urbano managed to work through Viela F.C's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Luan Urbano dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a defensive mix-up in S.E.R. LAÍNI's zone, Amadeu de Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvaldo Toledo came out of the goal and Amadeu de Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeu de Castro in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edvaldo Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flavio Cordaryal scored 1-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvaldo Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Flavio Cordaryal sped through S.E.R. LAÍNI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edvaldo Toledo. When Viela F.C's Amadeu de Castro in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.E.R. LAÍNI's goalie prevented a goal. 83 minutes into the match, Amadeu de Castro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edvaldo Toledo. S.E.R. LAÍNI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amadeu de Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeu de Castro in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edvaldo Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luan Urbano came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Humberto das Neves could save by the left post. After 90 minutes, Nilmar Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viela F.C and the S.E.R. LAÍNI players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nilmar Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Luan Urbano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edvaldo Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu de Castro in the 96th minute of play. Amadeu de Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Viela F.C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
