Spectators: 7613 (Terracing: 5710, Seating: 1751, VIP seats: 152) When Lauro Veloso fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mangalatiba SC's protests and gave Lauro Veloso a yellow card for diving instead. Petrică Mercescu shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 11th match minute, GØRDÃØ TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Pedro Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. Acácio Santana, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of GØRDÃØ TEAM booed when Mangalatiba SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo José Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes Mangalatiba SC got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Veloso. In the 15th minute of the match Petrică Mercescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nestor de Lara skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as GØRDÃØ TEAM's Lauder Boston slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nestor de Lara. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. Nestor de Lara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petrică Mercescu in the 19th minute. In the 27th minute, GØRDÃØ TEAM's Lauder Boston dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in GØRDÃØ TEAM's zone, Geovanni Berger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Lago came out of the goal and Geovanni Berger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodriguinho Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Lauder Boston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lauder Boston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Nestor de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Petrică Mercescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor de Lara. Mangalatiba SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petrică Mercescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petrică Mercescu was the one to do the kick off. The long shot by Luís Fábio Andrade in the 52nd minute really tested Thiago Lago's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 55thth minute of the game Petrică Mercescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mangalatiba SC's Nestor de Lara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, GØRDÃØ TEAM's Thiago Lago got control of the ball when Geovanni Berger tried to sneak it across the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Marcinho dos Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mangalatiba SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GØRDÃØ TEAM the free kick. 62 minutes into the game, one of Mangalatiba SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave GØRDÃØ TEAM a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Petrică Mercescu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mangalatiba SC's Nestor de Lara. 4-0. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Petrică Mercescu put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nestor de Lara. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petrică Mercescu in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor de Lara saved Mangalatiba SC from getting behind. GØRDÃØ TEAM's Rui Quintal got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mangalatiba SC's Nestor de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauder Boston in the 85th minute of play. Lauder Boston took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor de Lara. Nestor de Lara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Lauder Boston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Nestor de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lauder Boston struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Nestor de Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GØRDÃØ TEAM.
