Abelardo Tomi was a little too slow when Amancio Fonso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 14 played minutes Llevallol FC got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Artal. Abelardo Tomi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Francis, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 23rd minute, one of Llevallol FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Llevallol FC. Amancio Fonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Cisco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abelardo Tomi came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfonso Cisco slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 27th minute. Abelardo Tomi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Cisco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amancio Fonso took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abelardo Tomi. Abelardo Tomi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Evaristo Weather blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abelardo Tomi having to make a save. Amancio Fonso scored 4-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Tomi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th match minute, Club Atlético La Plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Lop to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Amancio Fonso made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Evangelista in the 52nd minute of play forced Club Atlético La Plata's goalkeeper Eleuterio Flor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amancio Fonso in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Tomi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amancio Fonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Tomi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Llevallol FC's Sergio Erasto got a free kick in the 65th minute. Alfonso Cisco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Abelardo Tomi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Llevallol FC's zone, Jonathan Francis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Tomi came out of the goal and Jonathan Francis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abelardo Tomi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Fonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abelardo Tomi came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético La Plata's Alfonso Cisco. But to his dismay, Alfonso Cisco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Tadeo Abajas took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eleuterio Flor. Eleuterio Flor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Llevallol FC's Abelardo Tomi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Fonso in the 92nd minute of play.
