Siro Jacindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allen Bannister, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allen Bannister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Siro Jacindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Allen Bannister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cardenales's Allen Bannister got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Siro Jacindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Terciero in the 15th minute of play. Allen Bannister sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Ñorquín FC's Aquiles Ermano got a free kick in the 27th minute. Allen Bannister recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Terciero in the 29th minute of play forced Ñorquín FC's goalkeeper Siro Jacindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ñorquín FC booed when Cardenales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Nesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Allen Bannister shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Jacindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allen Bannister sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allen Bannister's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Siro Jacindo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ubaldo Polo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Ñorquín FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Aquiles Ermano hit a great ball. Ñorquín FC's Siro Jacindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allen Bannister in the 54th minute of play. Arnaldo Arotza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ubaldo Polo went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Ñorquín FC's Aquiles Ermano got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Anselmo Terciero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Anselmo Terciero sped through Ñorquín FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Siro Jacindo. In the 68th match minute, Ñorquín FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Ermano to maneuver through the defense. Arnaldo Arotza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Ondino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allen Bannister had several of the Ñorquín FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Siro Jacindo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Reynaldo Nesor was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Teofilo Aguilera fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ñorquín FC's protests and gave Teofilo Aguilera a yellow card for diving instead. If Allen Bannister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cardenales booed when Ñorquín FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Ermano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute Ubaldo Polo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Arotza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Ñorquín FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Terciero came free, but Siro Jacindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Cardenales left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ñorquín FC.
