Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delmar Pagomari in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Iago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Nicanor Bizen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Nicanor Bizen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hector Iago was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Herminio Mikolas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Jacob in the 24th minute of the match. Villafañe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Bizen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delmar Pagomari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Hector Iago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Pagomari in the 78th minute of play forced Ramos Mejia Gunners's goalkeeper Hector Iago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Iago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicanor Bizen in the 81st minute.
