After 31 minutes of play, Tamangueyú's Serafin Mambru made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guaberto Pereyra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Astigar in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guaberto Pereyra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Adrian Jaunti came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Bustamante fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Jaunti couldn't finish the play. When Bustamante's Adrian Jaunti in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tamangueyú's goalie prevented a goal. Tomas Galoer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Jaunti in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Astigar to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Tamangueyú's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Crispo came free, but Tomas Galoer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Baudelio charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Baudelio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes Tamangueyú got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Baudelio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Jaunti in the 67th minute of play forced Tamangueyú's goalkeeper Tomas Galoer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaberto Pereyra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Astigar, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Bustamante's Guaberto Pereyra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Astigar in the 77th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafin Mambru got free with Guaberto Pereyra in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 86 minutes, Bernardino Crispo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bustamante's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardino Crispo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Adrian Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tamangueyú had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
