If Adrian Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Generoso Leheren came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Bustamante fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Generoso Leheren couldn't finish the play. Iker Caetano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Jaunti's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Bustamante's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Frutos came free, but Guaberto Pereyra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angua's Iker Caetano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Jaunti in the 26th minute of play. Generoso Leheren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Caetano having to interfere. A well placed Adrian Jaunti short distance shot in the 35th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. The audience was convinced that Adrian Jaunti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iker Caetano was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Elias Clementi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 76 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game, one of Bustamante:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Angua a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rosendo Lano, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bustamante's Guaberto Pereyra. 1-2. The supporters of Bustamante booed when Angua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Columbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bustamante's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Angua the free kick. After 95 played minutes, Angua's Rosendo Lano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guaberto Pereyra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Angua reached it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Angua had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
