With a little luck, San miguel's Silvestre Lucila got control of the ball when Arnoldo Arnas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Silvestre Lucila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Maura went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Jacinto Buinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Eneas in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Victoriano Quilino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Arnas in the 65th minute of play forced San miguel's goalkeeper Silvestre Lucila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvestre Lucila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Maura in the 67th minute of the match. San miguel's Silvestre Lucila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Domiku in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, San miguel's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Arnas came free, but Silvestre Lucila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Buinton made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Diego Nardo sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute Ciriaco Eneas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Buinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoldo Arnas took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvestre Lucila. Silvestre Lucila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Arnoldo Arnas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvestre Lucila having to make a save. Arnoldo Arnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Lucila having to interfere. Chorrillos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of San miguel for a fine match.
