Silvestre Lucila came out of the goal and Cesar Galsino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Diego Nardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantino Rocendo made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Anselmo Gasteiz sent off a good shot on target. Diego Nardo struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Constantino Rocendo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San miguel.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Nardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anselmo Gasteiz ran back to his position shaking his head. After 82 played minutes YOLY FC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Raphael. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Constantino Rocendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Gasteiz in the 90th minute of play.
