Gervasio Rodas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, C.A. Talleres de Córdoba's Danilo Ongile got control of the ball when Abel Flor tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. Talleres de Córdoba's goalkeeper Danilo Ongile, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. But to his dismay, Siro Laurin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Promesas Invencibles's zone, Gervasio Rodas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Enmanuel came out of the goal and Gervasio Rodas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Fidele's late challenge caught a C.A. Talleres de Córdoba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquin Fidele helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of C.A. Talleres de Córdoba booed when Promesas Invencibles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Fidele didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 minutes, Nunez Otsando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Talleres de Córdoba and the Promesas Invencibles players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th match minute, C.A. Talleres de Córdoba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Otsando to maneuver through the defense. Abel Flor struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Danilo Ongile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Promesas Invencibles. Abel Flor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Roque Loreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Promesas Invencibles supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching C.A. Talleres de Córdoba's performance. The match ended with a win for C.A. Talleres de Córdoba.
