After some careless play in the Rulo defense, Ciriaco Berdaitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Erauso. The Rulo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Erauso should have stopped the shot. Ciriaco Berdaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Erauso having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Rulo's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Laurin came free, but Ricardo Erauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Geronimo Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Rulo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Marquez couldn't finish the play. Celso Castel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Rulo booed when C.A. Talleres de Córdoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Berdaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rulo's Celso Castel got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciriaco Berdaitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Ricardo Erauso made a huge save. After 35 minutes, Marciano Aguilera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rulo and the C.A. Talleres de Córdoba players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rulo getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Marciano Aguilera hit a great ball. Siro Laurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ricardo Erauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.A. Talleres de Córdoba's Ciriaco Berdaitz got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Siro Laurin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Erauso having to interfere. Rulo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Siro Laurin scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Erauso, making the score, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Ciriaco Berdaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Talleres de Córdoba's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciriaco Berdaitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Erauso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C.A. Talleres de Córdoba's Adan Gar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Marquez in the 57th minute of play. Adan Gar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celso Castel in the 62nd minute. Celso Castel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adan Gar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Eliseo Lartaun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Erauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 67 minutes, Siro Laurin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Talleres de Córdoba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siro Laurin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rulo's Celso Castel, in the 84th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Rulo. If Geronimo Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes C.A. Talleres de Córdoba got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Jordy. Rulo's Niceto Ostots couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for C.A. Talleres de Córdoba. A hard shot by Niceto Ostots from long distance, 93 minutes into the match, got Adan Gar's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Celso Castel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Gar having to interfere. After a rather tough play, C.A. Talleres de Córdoba's Tomás Constancio got a free kick in the 99th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.A. Talleres de Córdoba had won after a very even match.
