Lázaro Eufrasio struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Adolfo Efraim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frontera. Romeo Berriotxoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Efraim having to interfere. Adolfo Efraim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romeo Berriotxoa went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Frontera booed when Quijana AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Eladio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celedonio Silvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Marcial Pelagius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute of the match, Apolo Kauldi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcial Pelagius was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Silvino in the 30th minute of play forced Frontera's goalkeeper Marcial Pelagius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Bixintxo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Quijana AFC! In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Frontera. Vicente Bernaldo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adolfo Efraim. 0-2. In the 48th minute, Moises Bixintxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 51st minute Quijana AFC were awarded a corner. Lázaro Marko went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Apolo Kauldi drilling the ball in to score 1-2 behind Frontera's goalkeeper.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romeo Berriotxoa to make the kick off. If Celedonio Silvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Kauldi in the 69th minute of play forced Frontera's goalkeeper Marcial Pelagius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Bixintxo's late challenge caught a Quijana AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Bixintxo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Moises Bixintxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 played minutes Frontera got a freekick which was hit by Moises Bixintxo. In the 74th minute of the match Lázaro Marko sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcial Pelagius skillfully saved the ball. Marcial Pelagius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Kauldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Frontera getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Anastasio Chap hit a great ball. In the 77th minute of the match Lázaro Marko sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcial Pelagius skillfully saved the ball. Marcial Pelagius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Kauldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Frontera's Romeo Berriotxoa got a free kick in the 95th minute. Marcial Pelagius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Apolo Kauldi's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. If Celedonio Silvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Frontera had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
