To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the game, HOSPITAL EVITA's Eleuterio Atarrabi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcial Pelagius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Frontera's Leandro Abilio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erubiel Solustiano. That made the score 1-3 after 28 minutes of play. Marcial Pelagius came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by HOSPITAL EVITA's Isaac Gentza. But to his dismay, Isaac Gentza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 39th minute Isaac Gentza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Pelagius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Pelagius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Gentza went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Isaac Gentza managed to get in a good position for a shot. HOSPITAL EVITA's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Gentza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Pelagius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

The wind increased when Leandro Abilio made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Frontera's zone, Isaac Gentza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Pelagius came out of the goal and Isaac Gentza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Amado Indar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcial Pelagius. That made the score 1-6 in the 64 minute of play. Eleuterio Atarrabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Marcial Pelagius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, HOSPITAL EVITA's Amado Indar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcial Pelagius. Marcial Pelagius yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Amado Indar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Pelagius having to interfere. Eleuterio Atarrabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Pelagius having to interfere. Marcial Pelagius came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by HOSPITAL EVITA's Isaac Gentza. But to his dismay, Isaac Gentza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. Amado Indar was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience was convinced that Isaac Gentza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcial Pelagius was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, Frontera's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Indar came free, but Marcial Pelagius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eleuterio Atarrabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute of the match Marcos Gaizkine shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcial Pelagius showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 96th minute Igor Garaile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Solustiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. HOSPITAL EVITA played a much better game than Frontera and deserved their victory. The Frontera players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
