In the 19th match minute, Ranquile FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Galtero to maneuver through the defense. After 26 minutes, Iker Videl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ranquile FC and the Escarto FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Cristobal Barrionuevo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristobal Barrionuevo was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Everardo Quinto got free with Mauricio Lorenz in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teobaldo Vedillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everardo Quinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Mauricio Lorenz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Escarto FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Mauricio Lorenz, was totally fooled by Ranquile FC's Albano Tristan, who 67 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Barrionuevo in the 74th minute of play forced Ranquile FC's goalkeeper Octavio Cordero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cristobal Barrionuevo came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Escarto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristobal Barrionuevo couldn't finish the play. Octavio Cordero came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Escarto FC's Cristobal Barrionuevo. But to his dismay, Cristobal Barrionuevo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cristobal Barrionuevo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Cordero having to interfere. A collision led to Ranquile FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Camilo Dabi hit a great ball. Ranquile FC's Teobaldo Vedillo got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Escarto FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Salvador Mouricio hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Teobaldo Vedillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ranquile FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobaldo Vedillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauricio Lorenz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Escarto FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Teobaldo Vedillo scored to the left of an out of position Mauricio Lorenz, making the score, 1-2. The Ranquile FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
