In the 4th match minute, Chapaleofú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Montes to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ayajasco AFC booed when Chapaleofú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Isidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Dei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jose Millan kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Sebastian Ascencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvestre Bermund in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Txartiko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Sebastian Ascencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angel Dei charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angel Dei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Sergio Patrido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayajasco AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Patrido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Servando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute Sergio Patrido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Servando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Servando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Patrido in the 29th minute of play. Baltasar Silban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Baltasar Silban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santiago Servando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Patrido in the 37th minute of play. Silvestre Bermund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Emiliano Txartiko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergio Patrido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Servando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvestre Bermund to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Ayajasco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Savier to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the game, Sebastian Ascencio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Emiliano Txartiko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Ayajasco AFC booed when Chapaleofú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Savion didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Ayajasco AFC defense, Silvestre Bermund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano Txartiko. The Ayajasco AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Txartiko should have stopped the shot. In the 67th match minute, Chapaleofú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Dei to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Chapaleofú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Silban came free, but Santiago Servando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Silvestre Bermund took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Emiliano Txartiko to make any attempt to save it. Sergio Patrido took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santiago Servando. In the 78th minute, Baltasar Silban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sergio Patrido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th match minute, Chapaleofú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Dei to maneuver through the defense. Jose Millan, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sergio Patrido took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santiago Servando. Santiago Servando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. 92 minutes into the match, Chapaleofú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Patrido came free, but Santiago Servando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Savier in the 94th minute of play forced Chapaleofú FC's goalkeeper Santiago Servando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Silvestre Bermund fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chapaleofú FC's protests and gave Silvestre Bermund a yellow card for diving instead. Silvestre Bermund hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The Ayajasco AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chapaleofú FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Chapaleofú FC.
